Classroom Policy: No bystanders allowed!

Interoffice memorandum no. 29 is in full effect, highlighting that starting June 6, 2018, all
classrooms must be locked at all times when there are no scheduled classes.

Last June, Dr. Erlinda Abarintos, Vice President for Administration and Finance, circulated an
order concerning classrooms policy that states: Anyone who caught idly staying inside the clssrooms
without an official class schedule or permit shall be asked to leave, and was signed by the College
President, Dr. Imelda DP. Soriano.

According to Mrs. Abarintos, there were instances that classrooms were used for sleeping,
eating, charging station, leaving the classrooms unclean, bystanding, and wrecking the properties of
the college, wherein it is a big no for her.

In spite the fact that Interoffice Memorandum no. 29 is effective, Dr. Abarintos quoted that: if
students wanted to use the classrooms, we have to secure the permit because we do not have
enough personnel to check the classrooms. She also stated that, “I don’t want to set a minimum
number of students to occupy the room, as long it is reasonable”.

Due to the issue spread all over the college, Dr. Erlinda Abarintos said to the students: “You were
just misinformed. Ask the proper authority (college administration) to explain it, kasi ‘yon yong
gustong I-address ng memo, we want just to protect the things of the institution.”

She also added that they are now developing gardens for pastime. “Responsibility ng
Administration to properly maintain.” “Energy fee is for during classes only” “…we are now
developing gardens for pastime”
