Evaluate and discuss the arguments for and against the policy of protection which India is
pursuing in respect of the Agriculture Sector. Discuss the role of quotas and tariffs in supporting
the protectionist policy of India. Illustrate the effects of tariffs on agro-based products that are
allowed to be imported into India.

INDUSTRIAL ECONOMICS - ASSIGNMENT

Examine the how location and economies of scale effected SSI sector in the context of any one
industry of your understanding. Analyse how and to what extent have state level financial
institutions supported SSI Industrial growth in the state of Telangana.
