INFORMATION AND APPLICATION

Eligibility Criteria

Up to four (4) Scholarships will be awarded to students enrolled in the Bachelor of Medical Science program to

assist in undertaking either the 2 or 3 year of study of the Bachelor of Medical Science at the Australian
National University (ANU) in order to obtain the joint UniSA-ANU Bachelor of Medical Science degree.

1: Students must have completed the equivalent of at least one year of full-time study at UniSA to be
eligible to apply.

2: Open to students in either the 1 or 2 year of the Bachelor of Medical Science in order to undertake

the 2 or 3 year of their study at the ANU. Students must comply with the criteria for eligibility for the
joint degree that are published in the program rules on PCMS
3: Eligible candidates must apply for the scholarship by submitting the completed application
scholarship form before the closing date, together with a covering letter which outlines the reasons for
wishing to undertake the joint degree and providing a statement of achievements. Students who do
not submit an application form will not be considered for the Scholarship.
4: Shortlisted applicants may be asked to an interview.
5 Award of the scholarship is contingent on the student being made and accepting an offer of cross-
institutional enrolment in the Bachelor of Medical Science on a full-time basis at the ANU.
6: Continued award of the scholarship is contingent on successful completion of all courses and the
student remaining enrolled on a full-time basis at the ANU for the duration of the academic year

Notes

Scholarships are up to the value of $10,000 to cover the cost of accommodation in a residential
college at ANU and a return airline ticket between Adelaide and Canberra.
Scholarship funds will not normally be paid to the student directly. Accommodation and flights will be
paid out of the scholarship funds on behalf of the student.
Exceptions may be made if a student wishes to arrange alternative accommodation for example if
travelling with family members.

1: This application form and all supporting documentation should be submitted no later than 5pm on
the first Friday in December. Applications received after this date will not be considered.
