DESCRIPTION :

TV sets with T6 chassis which has a YVL190R-3, YVL190R-2, YVL190R-1 PCB

code.

Backlight is on and screen blank or Backlight is on and screen changes various

colors repeatedly and TV set can’t control with remote control.

SOLUTION:

1.) Change IC900 with 453763R-1 IC-SMD MP2205ADL QFN14 T&R coded
component,

2.) Change R902 with 173129R RC-CHIP 12K %1 1/16W /0603 coded
component,

3.) Change R903 with 173396R RC-CHIP 39K %1 1/16W /0603 SERITLI
coded component,

 IF, as seen in figure 2, there is capacitor on the R903 (typical handmade
modification), remove resistor and capacitor from R903 position. After
removing them, add ONLY 173396R RC-CHIP 39K %1 1/16W /0603 SERITLI
coded chip resistor on R903 position.

There is extra rework which must be applied also depends on the features of the
chassis.

A.) Chassis without USB and DVD

For chassis without DVD and USB; firstly remove the ferrite bead from L903 and then
transfer the removed component to the L902 position. Or you can use 055626R
FERRITE BEAD-CHIP 120R/100MHZ 3A/1206 coded ferrite bead instead of
removed component for L902 position.

B.) Chassis with USB and/or DVD

There is no extra rework method for chassis with DVD and/or USB. Only check that
ferrite bead must be on L903 position.
