Marketing Mix of Vijay sales

1. Product: In Home appliances Vijay Sales has refrigerators, vacuum cleaner,


microwave oven, washing machine, etc. They also offer variety in professional
cameras, mobile phones, TV sets, radio, computer, laptops, home theatre,
headphones and many other such electronic items.
2. Price:
 Economic Pricing - A valuation technique, which assigns a low price to
selected products. As Vijay sales has tie-ups with many companies and
directly purchases its products from the factory itself, offering products at
low price becomes a good competitive strategy.
 Psychology pricing - Psychological pricing is the practice of setting
prices slightly lower than rounded numbers, in the belief that customers do
not round up these prices, and so will treat them as lower prices than they
really are.
3. Promotion: As promotional strategy, Vijay sales has tie-ups with some of the
famous movie theatre chains like INOX, PVR, Cinema carnival. They also do
their promotions through print media i.e. banners, newspaper, magazines. Vijay
Sales has also recently come up with its online site for the convenience of its
customers.
4. Place: As a place strategy, Vijay sales focuses on its hub and spoke model. It has
9 warehouses & 54 stores in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Delhi and that’s how they
cater to its various shops from its hub i.e. the 9 strategically placed warehouses.
