Steps to Create View Only Job Role in R13

Create Job Role

Assign Job Role to User

Save and Close

Create Duty Role

Assign the following functional security policies

 Manage On-Hand Quantity

 Monitor Inventory Management Work Area
 Monitor Inventory Work Area
 Review Completed Inventory Transaction
Create Data Security Policy

 Policy Name: User Defined

 Database Resource: Inventory Organization
 Data Set: Select by key
 Organization _ID (NUMBER)
 Actions: Select Manage On-Hand Quanity

Navigate to Summary and Import Report and “Save and Close”

Job role must inherit the duty role.

Navigate back to the Job Role and inherit the newly created Duty Role

Navigate to Summary and Import Report and “Save and Close”

Login as the user with the view only job role assigned.

Inventory Management landing page will appear as shown below.
