Variable Channel Ring

In this tutorial we will try out some of the most useful com-
mands in RhinoGold. Powerful tools as Ring Wizard, Gems by
2 Curves, Cutter Studio and Prong In Line.

Ring Wizard Duplicate Edge

Gems by 2 Curves

Modelling tab to remove the cutters from the ring as

 Prongs in Line
11 Now, back to the Jewellery tab with the Prongs in
Line tool to create the prongs to support the gems,
in this case 2 prongs for each gem as the above image.
Prong Editor
12 Then, select the prongs and press F2 to open the
Prong Editor tool, there we can define in parame-
ters a smoth cap to the prongs. Important: inside the
Prong Editor command we need to select the prongs
again to make changes.

Boolean Union
13 The last step, under the Modelling Tab with the Boo-
lean Union tool to unite all the parts in a single ob-
ject.
