I am writing this in regard to my interest in obtaining the Plant Ecology Internship posted on
your site. I am currently a Sophomore at Arizona State University, studying Sustainability with a
track in Ecosystems and Conservation Biology and Ecology. I believe that through my dedication
and passion, I would be a great fit for this position.

I am qualified for this position through my experience with Audubon Arizona. While working
there as an intern, I became familiar with data recording, organizing, and analyzing data sheets.
As well as the use of GPS and GIS systems while acting as a field ecologist. All of the skills in
which are necessary to obtain this position.

My valuable set of skills such as a strong work ethic, ability to effectively communicate with
peers, and my collaboration efforts allow me to go above and beyond with any task or project I
am given. My experience along with my tenacious attitude would allow me to be an excellent
worker in which I would need little to no guidance and supervision.

These skills coupled with my experience and drive will benefit the goals and objectives that both
the Student Conservancy Association and VALL Forest and Range Plant Ecologist promote.
