Statement of the problem

This study will be generated to answer the following questions:

1. Determine Domestic Violence and Child Abuse?

2. Determine the causes of Domestic Violence and Child Abuse

as perceived by Police Officers and Barangay Officials?

3. Determine the effects of Domestic Violence and Child Abuse

as perceived by Police Officers and Barangay Officials?

4. Is there significant relationship between the causes and

effects of Domestic Violence and Child Abuse as perceived
by Police Officers and Barangay Officials of Roxas City,
Capiz?

Hypotheses of the study

The study is generated to the following answers:

1. Domestic violence and child abuse occurs when one

individual is physically or psychologically harm by another
individual.

2. Economic crises, individual life status, peer pressure and

etc. are the causes of Domestic Violence and Child Abuse as
perceived by the Police Officers and Barangay Officials.

3. Anxiety, Depression and etc. are the effects of Domestic

Violence and Child Abuse as perceived by Police Officers
and Barangay Officials.

4. There is no significant relationship between causes and

effects of Domestic Violence and Child Abuse as perceived
by Police Officers and Barangay Officials of Roxas City,
Capiz.
