Biased nature of history writing:

The history of pakistan written in textbooks of pakistan studies has been criticized for a long time ,
sources say that the content written in it is not just inaccurate but there’s historical revisionism in
them and it promotes religious intolerance

In the textbooks the selected material and the very sequence of it presents islam not only as a belief
system but also as a political ideology, it is also presented as a grand worldview that must be accepted
by all the citizens.The textbooks also destroys the historical facts and the cultural heritage of pakistan
to approve islamic ideology as the article of faith.In the textbooks instead of writing about civil
participation, critical thinking and freedom of speech there is a lot written about islamic virtues.one
sided history, half truths, false references and biased approach is used in writing the history of
pakistan.
