Willy González Cruz

He was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, on June 3, 1979. Is a

Dominican Christian music rapper named Redimi2.

Before been a singer, he used to be addicted to drugs and spent most of his time at

parties, rap concerts and selling or using drugs. But his story changed at the end of

1999 because he became a Christian. By other side, Willy has been characterized

by giving Christian words and advice in every song.

After that, he was the first rapper to launch a Christian rap album in his country and

his first album was named Mortal Combination with a discography of 50.000 copies

sold. Redimi2 has already won 8 AMCL Adwards, 2 VMCL Adwards and 1 Harp

Awards.

Finally in his musical career Redimi2 has ministered with other preachers like: Marco

Barrientos, Torre Fuerte, Dante Gebel, René González and Vico C. In addition his

ministerial career and his testimony have opened doors and won the trust of the

greatest preachers in his country.
