ACTUALIZACIÓN DE VERSIÓN DE SOFTWARE
VERIFICAR VERSIÓN ACTUAL DE SOFTWARE INSTALADA

Antes de proceder con la descarga de la versión de software, favor de verificar si su

equipo D9865 tiene la versión 2.75 instalada.

1. Ir a MAIN MENU > SET UP MENU > INFO > VERSION INFORMATION.
2. La línea CURR VER debe informar la versión actual instalada.
3. Si la versión informada es un número menor a 2.75 favor de proceder con las
instrucciones a continuación.

INSTRUCCIONES PARA DESCARGAR LA VERSIÓN DE SOFTWARE

1. Favor de hacer referencia al documento Parámetros de Señales e ingrese la

información técnica satelital que corresponde a la unidad.
2. Identifique en la tabla abajo el número de canal que corresponde a la
descarga de versión en su equipo D9865.

3. Este canal no mostrara video, es únicamente con el propósito de descargar la

aplicación del software.
4. La descarga puede demorar de 1-2 horas, el canal asignado para la
descarga debe permanecer fijo y el proceso NO DEBE SER INTERRUMPIDO.

 PROGRESO DE DESCARGA DE LA VERSIÓN DE SOFTWARE

1. Ir a MAIN MENU > SET UP MENU > ADVANCED SETUP > DOWNLOAD.
2. En la pantalla de DOWNLOAD, hacer referencia a la línea TOTAL CDT, la
misma debe informar la numeración 7875 y la línea de CDT RECEIVED debe
mostrar números ascendiendo.
AVISO: Si la línea de CDT RECEIVED muestra 0 debe verificar y confirmar
los parámetros de señales ingresados. También debe verificar que la
conexión del equipo con la antena y el satélite están bien.
3. La descarga de la versión termina cuando la numeración en la línea CDT
RECEIVED llega a 7875. Este proceso puede demorar de 1-2 horas y NO
DEBE SER INTERRUMPIDO.

COMPLETAR INSTALACIÓN DE LA VERSIÓN DE SOFTWARE

1. Ir a MAIN MENU > SET UP MENU > ADVANCED SETUP > DOWNLOAD.
2. En la pantalla de DOWNLOAD, ir a la parte abajo y seleccionar BOOT APP
(botón amarillo).
3. En la siguiente pantalla identificada BOOTABLE APP SELECTION, ir a la línea
DOWNLOAD APP y seleccionar 2.75.
4. En la parte abajo de esta pantalla seleccionar LOAD APP (botón verde).
5. Se mostrara una notificación informando que esta acción reiniciara la unidad.
Seleccione OK-CONTINUE para completar la instalación.
6. Cuando la unidad termine el proceso de reinicio, debe asignar el número de
canal correcto para la señal de Discovery que tiene autorizada.

ACTUALIZACIÓN DE VERSIÓN DE SOFTWARE
WEB GUI – ACCESO A LA INTERFACE DEL EQUIPO

En el navegador de internet FIREFOX, ir a la barra de direcciones web y de acuerdo

al modelo de equipo que actualizara entrar IP address.
• D9800: 192.168.1.1
• D9824 / D9854 / D9858 / D9859: 192.131.244.6

Se mostrara una pantalla identificando la interface para el modelo del equipo que
se encuentra conectado solicitando los siguientes datos:
• USERNAME: admin
• PASSWORD: localadmin

NOTA: Si necesita instrucciones detalladas para el acceso al Web GUI, favor de

hacer referencia a la Guía de Configuración de Equipo.

VERIFICAR VERSIÓN ACTUAL DE SOFTWARE INSTALADA

Antes de proceder con la descarga de la versión de software, favor de verificar si su

equipo tiene instalada la versión correcta para recibir las señales de Discovery.

1. Conectarse al equipo a través de la interface Web GUI con el navegador de

internet FIREFOX.
2. Ir a SYSTEM SETTINGS > VERSIONS.
3. En la pantalla de VERSIONS, ir a CURRENT VERSIONS y en la línea SW
VERSION identificar el número de versión de software que su unidad tiene
instalada. El modelo D9800 debe tener la versión 3.01, el modelo D9859 le
corresponde la versión 1.75 y los modelos D9824, D9854 & D9858 deben
tener la versión 4.75.
4. Si la versión informada es un número diferente al mencionado anteriormente,
favor de proceder con las instrucciones para actualizar la versión de software.

 INSTRUCCIONES PARA ACTUALIZAR LA VERSIÓN DE SOFTWARE

Identifique el modelo del equipo que esta autorizando con las señales de Discovery.
Hacer clic sobre el modelo y salvar en su computadora el archivo que se muestra
cuando abre el enlace.

AVISO: El archivo con la versión de software es con la terminación .cdt, el mismo

NO es un archivo de texto y NO deber ser abierto. Cuando abre el enlace debe
seleccionar SAVE (salvar) o DOWNLOAD (descargar). NO haga cambios en el
nombre del archivo, de lo contrario se presentara error al momento de hacer la
descarga en su equipo.

1. Ir a SYSTEM SETTINGS > VERSIONS.

2. Abajo en la pantalla ir a APP/LICENSE/FPGA DOWNLOADS y con el botón de
BROWSE buscar el archivo con la terminación .cdt que anteriormente salvó en
su computadora.
3. El nombre del archivo .cdt que desea descargar será visible, favor de proceder
en hacer clic sobre el botón de DOWNLOAD.
4. El equipo reiniciará y la version completará su instalación.

SOFTWARE UPDATE INSTRUCTIONS
VERIFY CURRENT VERSION INSTALLED

Before you follow these instructions to upgrade the software version, please verify if
your decoder D9865 has the version 2.75 installed.

1. Go to MAIN MENU > SET UP MENU > INFO > VERSION INFORMATION.
2. Next to CURR VER you’ll see the current version installed in your receiver.
3. If the version installed is lower than 2.75 please follow the instructions below to
upgrade the software version in your D9865.

INSTRUCTIONS TO DOWNLOAD SOFTWARE APPLICATION

1. Please refer to the document Networks Parameters and enter the technical
information of the signal to be authorized in your receiver.
2. According the satellite and frequency you entered in your decoder, identify the
channel number to download the software application.

3. Please note this channel won’t have video image, is for the only purpose to
download the software application to upgrade your decoder.
4. This download process could take between 1-2 hours, please don’t change the
channel number and DO NOT INTERRUPT THIS DOWNLOAD.

 CONFIRM DOWNLOADING OF SOFTWARE APPLICATION

1. Go to MAIN MENU > SET UP MENU > ADVANCED SETUP > DOWNLOAD.
2. In the window DOWNLOAD, refer to the line TOTAL CDT, if its connected right it
will display 7875 and the numbers displayed on the line CDT RECEIVED will be
ascending.
NOTE: If the line CDT RECEIVED shows 0, please verify and confirm you
entered the correct networks parameters. Also verify local connection
between the decoder, antenna and satellite.
3. DO NOT INTERRUPT THIS DOWNLOAD. It is complete when the numbers in the
line CDT RECEIVED add up to 7875. This process will take between 1-2 hours.

COMPLETE INSTALLATION OF SOFTWARE APPLICATION

1. Go to MAIN MENU > SET UP MENU > ADVANCED SETUP > DOWNLOAD.
2. In the window DOWNLOAD, select BOOT APP (yellow button in the lower side
of the window screen).
3. In the next window screen identified as BOOTABLE APP SELECTION, go to the
line DOWNLOAD APP and select 2.75.
4. On the lower side select of the window screen select LOAD APP (green button).
5. It will show a notification to let you know that action will restart the receiver.
Select OK-CONTINUE to complete installation.
6. Once the receiver restart, go to channel list and select the channel number of
the signal authorized.

SOFTWARE UPDATE INSTRUCTIONS

WEB GUI – ACCESS TO RECEIVER WEB INTERFACE

Please use web browser FIREFOX, identify model number of your receiver and enter
the IP address assigned.
• D9800: 192.168.1.1
• D9824 / D9854 / D9858 / D9859: 192.131.244.6

Enter the following information:

• USERNAME: admin
• PASSWORD: localadmin

VERIFY CURRENT VERSION OF SOFTWARE

Prior downloading software file, please verify if your receiver has the correct version
to receive Discovery signals.

1. Once you have access to the receiver’s web interface, please go to SYSTEM
SETTINGS > VERSIONS.
2. In the window VERSION, go to CURRENT VERSIONS and in the line SW
VERSION, identify the software version installed in your unit. Model D9800
should have version 3.01, model D9859 version 1.75 and the models
D9824, D9854 & D9858 version 4.75.
3. If your receiver has a different version installed, please proceed to complete
these instructions to update software version.

In the list below identify your receiver’s model, click over it and save in your
computer the .cdt file presented.

• D9859

NOTE: Please DO NOT change or modify the name of the file. IT IS NOT A TEXT
FILE, is a digital file to be downloaded in your receivers.

1. Go to SYSTEM SETTINGS > VERSIONS.

2. In that window go to APP/LICENSE/FPGA DOWNLOADS, click BROWSE and
search the software file previously saved in your computer.
3. You will see the name of the file, click DOWNLOAD.
4. Receiver will restart and software update is complete.
