SUMMARY OF REPORTS

Wastewater is any water that has been affected by human use. Wastewater is "used water

from any combination of domestic, industrial, commercial or agricultural activities, surface runoff

or storm water, and any sewer inflow or sewer infiltration". Wastewater must be analyze and

treated to prevent from causing hazardous effects unto human’s health, plant, and other living

organism along the vicinity of the path of wastewater.

To further deepen and understand wastewater analysis and treatment, the researchers

collected sample water along Bued River, Woodsville Baguio-Benguet and subjected to different

test. The researchers aimed to characterize the water sample and aid to help the community around

the vicinity and prevent possible health problems coming from the contaminated river.

To identify the qualitative and quantitative characteristics of the water sample from Bued

River, Woodsville Baguio-Benguet, the researchers had done different tests to determine each

physical, biological and chemical parameters of the water sample. Such test include testing of

water characteristics and determination of physical and chemical quality parameters.
