An Interface is where users interact by using windows, icons, menus & pointer (sometimes known as
WIMP interface). This is the most common form of user interface that we see on computers
nowadays.

Features of a GUI
Windows, Icons, Menus & Pointers are used for interacting and navigating. More accessible for user
with individual needs. Easy to use and novice friendly.
An interface is where users interact by typing in commands into a simple text based screen. This
used to be the most popular form of interface but is only popular now with certain technical users.
Features of a CLI
Text based interface using commands for interacting & navigating. Difficult to read with limited
customization for accessibility. Complex to use requiring knowledge of commands.
Mobile devices have special requirements for user to interact with the devices interface. For
example, with mobile devices you don’t use a mouse, but instead make use of a touch screen.
GUI is till used but pointers are replaced by users fingers on a touch screen. Often easier for users
with limited mobility to interact, though gestures like swipes can be difficult. Interface is very
intuitive as users can easily understand touching something to interact with it.
