PURPOSE The purpose of this procedure is to describe the system to be followed for construction of bored cast in-situ piles. This procedure is intended to summarize Afcons proposal for the construction of pilling work. The construction of Bored Cast-in-situ piles in land shall be completed with the Hydraulic Piling Rig and Marine Piles will be installed by percussion method by chisel and baller. The area in which piling rig will work in land shall be suitably } leveled compacted and made secure. Necessary services such as Service crane, Trailer/Dumpers Loader Welding generators, Lighting arrangements, Transit mixtures, ete., shall be provided to complete the piling works. Area for steel reinforcement cage fabrication shall be provided close to rig working location. 2. WORKSCOPE ‘The scope of the work shall the following activities. a) Layout of structure and control of alignment > b) Positioning of the piling rig ) Installation of permanent casing 4) Boring of pile and disposal of bore muck/spoil @) Termination of bore f) Cleaning of Bore 9) Cutting bending, and typing of reinforcement cage as per approved drawings h) Transporting Rebar cage to site i) Placing & lowering of reinforcement cage }) Lowering of Tremie pipe and flushing k) Producing and transporting the concrete to site as per the approved mix design 1) Conereting of bore hole
