ROCK’S EVOLUTION?

As we all know, the rock music has changed a lot throughout history. Since its inception
with known people like Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry in them 50’s, the Beatles in the 60’s
In the 70’s with Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and Queen. 80’s black metal, trash metal and
hard rock (GUNS AND ROSES) with bands like Megadeth, Venom, Metalica, slayer
Bathory or Mayhem and in the 90’s with Nirvana.
But the rock's essence is being lost, or maybe it’s becoming into another kind of music.

SHADOW TRAP
A new begin, a new era, recently they have begun to create new sound combinations.
What’s shadow trap? It’s necessary to clarify that’s something very different to the Latin
trap, that is awful music.
The shadow trap lyrics are very depressive, sad, it has pain from its authors, that music
reflects the sadness and the self-loathing from its singers.

About two years ago was the “big bang” of the shadow trap with artist as lil peep and
XXXTENTACION songs like “star shopping, save that shit, awful things and
switchblades” by lil peep or “Jocelyn Flores, save me, fuck love and look at me” by X.
Both died already but that was only the begin of the shadow trap. Currently my favorites
shadow trap singers are $UICIDE BOY$ and Ghostemane, this last one is very influenced
by black metal and my favorites songs are “sarcophagus (iii), nightmare choir, second hand
and Carrolton” by $UICIDE BOY$ and all the album “N/O/I/S/E” by Ghostemane.
Finally, … I think that the metal and trap’s combination is really amazing but that isn’t for
all kind of people because is very explicit and it has very loud sounds but that often fits
With the way that I feel, actually that music makes me feel free and not so alone.
