The WHO’s QualityRights project and toolkit is part of WHO’s campaign to improve care and

halt human rights violations against people with mental health

conditions.

WHO QualityRights is aimed to work for the betterment of the quality and condition of
mentally and psychologically disabled patients in mental health and social care facilities and
advocate organizations for their human rights.

WHO’s QualityRights tool kit has been created to give participating countries the necessary
information to asses and implement quality and human rights standards in psychiatric
facilities and services working for the mentally disabled.
