We are what we eat

As far as I’m concerned, our food choices affect our health. We sometimes
go to the supermarket as fast as possible and we don’t realize what we are
choosing. From my experience, I can see this problem is a universal truth.
However, what will happen if we read the label of products?

Imagine you are going to taste your cereals or biscuits in the morning. If I
ask you, are you sure what you are eating? First of all, inside your bowl of
cereals there are likeable three cubes of sugar, and you can ask you,
where? If I were you, I would start to think about your feeding.

On the one hand, we should think if the food which we eat is healthy.
Maybe we have not realized but the most of products that are in our
fridge or in the supermarket have gone through a certain process and
have become artificial. It means that natural and simple products have
been transformed into harmful and unhealthy products. Nutrients are
removed when preservatives, thickeners, flavorings, colorants, emulsifiers
and much more are added into unprocessed food.

On the other hand, who is the guilty of this increasingly problem? Clearly,
food companies are the most responsible of this situation. They don’t care
about the health of consumers. The companies are only interested in their
economic benefits. Now, I'm going to show you some examples. FOTO

For example, this is a food for babies. When you see this in a supermarket,
maybe you can think is a much recommended food for your baby because
the presentation is about fruits. But if you see the ingredients, you opinion
will change. The reality of this product is that it contains only 41 % of milk,
water, sugar and only 5% of pear. And the most important is that it has
got 10 gr of sugar.

The next product is very similar. It’s a packet of growth milk for babies. If
you see the ingredients, the first ingredient is water and then skimmed
milk, sugar + vegetable oils, vitamins added. A baby doesn’t need this type
of food.

To sum up, I truly believe and many Scientifics have demonstrated that
most of the chronic diseases today can be drastically reduced with better
nutrition and lifestyle changes.
