Instructions / Instructions

Read the information given below thoroughly before you apply. 
Read the information below before applying.
1. Read all information in CEN 01/2016 (NTPC) carefully before you start filling the online application form.  
Carefully  read  all  the  information  about  CEN  01/2016  (NTPC)  before  starting  to  fill  out  the  online
application form.

2. Candidate should be applied to only one RRB If duplicate applications are found for any candidate of any
point of time, then all the applications will be rejected. The  
candidate  should  apply  only  on  an  RRB.  If  for  any  candidate  duplicate  applications  are  found  at  any
time, then all applications will be rejected.

3. After  submission  of  application,  the  change  fee  of  Rs.100  /  ­  (non­refundable)  paying  by  the  selected
RRB, email ID and mobile number except for the application of the application. Such modification can be
done only 
After submitting the application, the candidate can change any details mentioned in the application only
by  paying  the  revised  fee  of  Rs.100  /  ­  (non  refundable)  to  all  the  details  of  the  balance  except  the
selected RRB, email id and mobile number. Such modifications can only be done twice. .

4. The selection of RRB will be done once the final and no change in RRB zone will be entertained further. 
The selection of one time RRB used will be final and no change will be made in the RRB zone.

5.  Application Procedure / Application Process
Step 1:
Registration: In this stage, candidates should enter their basic details like Name, DOB, Aadhaar Details,
Father's  name,  Mother's  name,  Matriculation  Roll  number  &  Passing  of  the  year,  Mobile  number  and
Email ID. 
Before submitting for registration, confirmation and confirmation that the information furnished
for  registration  is  later  changed.  Please  note  that  the  email  ID  used  for  registration  Also,  the
candidate of the registration of confirmation before an OTP with the email ID and mobile number
will be verified. 

Phase 1 :
Registration  :  In  this  phase  the  candidate  should  register  the  basic  details  such  as  his  name,  date  of
birth,  gender,  base  details,  father's  name,  mother's  name,  metriculation  roll  number  and  year  of
passing, mobile number and email ID.

Before  submitting  for  registration,  make  sure  that  all  information  furnished  is  correct  because  the
details  submitted  for  registration  can  not  be  changed  later.  Please  note  that  the  email  id  used  for
registration should be yours and unique. Also note that both the email ID and the mobile number will be
verified with an OTP before confirming the registration of the candidate.

Step 2:
Verification of Email ID & Mobile Number: Once the registration details are submitted, an OTP will be
sent to your registered email ID and your registered mobile number to another OTP. Click on the "Verify
through OTP" link on the home page of the online registration portal and enter the OTP received on your
email and mobile in the respective fields. After validation of both the OTPs, the registration number will
be  generated  and  displayed.  Also  the  registration  details  will  be  sent  to  your  email  ID  and  mobile
number.

Verification of mobile number and e­mail id : After submitting registration details, an OTP will be sent to
your registered email id and other OTP on your registered mobile number. Click on the "Verify through
OTP" link on the home page of the online registration portal and enter the OTP received on your email
and mobile in related areas. After verification of both OTP's, registration number will be generated and
displayed. The registration details will also be sent to your email id and mobile number. 

Step 3:
Part­I Application: Candidates can proceed with the online application by clicking on "Candidate Login"
link  on  the  home  page  using  the  registration  number  and  Date  of  Birth.  At  this  stage,  the  candidate
needs  to  enter  his  personal  details  of  eligibility  criteria  like  Qualification,  Community,  Gender,  Religion,
etc. Candidate's eligibility for different age relaxations will also be obtained at this stage.

step 3 :
Part­1  Applications:  Candidates  can  proceed  with  online  application  by  clicking  the  "Candidate  login"
link on the home page using registration number and date of birth. At this stage, the candidate needs to
enter his / her personal details of eligibility criteria like qualification, community, gender, religion, etc.
Candidate's eligibility for various age relaxation will also be obtained in this phase.

Step 4:
Payment stage: Fee Payment is mandatory for all candidates Fee of Rs.500 / ­ is required to be paid
fee  by  all  candidates,  fees  exempted  categories  of  candidates  except,  if  the  CBT  in  the  candidate
appears  in  the  amount  of  Rs.400  /  ­  refunded.  Fee  of  Rs.250  /  ­  will  be  payable  by  the  candidates
belonging  to  fee  exempted  categories,  which  is  refunded  if  the  candidate  appears  in  CBT.  The
candidates can apply for a fee through one of the following modes: 
Net  Bank  /  Debit  /  Credit  Card  (Transaction  charges  as  applicable):  Candidates  can  make  their
payment through Net Banking or Debit Card or Credit Card
SBI  Bank  Challan  (No  transaction  charges):  Candidates  can  download  the  Bank  Challan  prefilled
with their specific details and make the payment in any branch of the SBI.
Post Office Challan (Transaction / Processing charges extra): Candidates can download the Postal
Challan prefilled with their specific details and make the payment in the country of any computerized
post office.
Bank details: Candidates who appear in 1st stage of CBT are eligible for refund as per Para 7 of the
notification. The  examination  fee  will  be  refunded  in  the  same  account  through  which  payment  was
made of online payment. Such candidates who do not want to receive the refund in the same account
and  the  postal  challan  and  bank  challan  through  payment  of  candidates,  beneficiary  account  ie,
Beneficiary name, Bank name, Account number and IFSC Code in which they would like to receive the
refund. Confirm that the details entered in this page are correct as well. Refund of fee will be made by
deducting bank charges to the beneficiary account only.
step 4 :
Payment phase : fee payment is mandatory for all the candidates. All candidates must be paid Rs 500 / ­
except  for  the  candidates  having  discounted  categories,  although  the  amount  of  Rs.  400  /  ­  will  be
refunded upon the candidate appearing in CBT. Candidates belonging to the discount exemption categories
will get Rs. 250 / ­ will be charged, the amount will be refunded to the candidate. Candidates can proceed
to charge payment through one of the following payment methods

Net  Bank  /  Debit  /  Credit  Card  (Transaction  Charges  on  Applicable):  Candidates  can  make  their
payments through Net Banking or Debit Card or Credit Card.

SBI  Bank  Challan  (no  transaction  fee):  Candidates  can  download  the  bank  challan  with  their  specific
details and can make payment in any branch of SBI.

Post  Office  Charges  (Transaction  /  Processing  Fee  Excess):  Candidates  can  download  pre­scheduled
mailing  invoices  with  their  specific  details  and  can  pay  in  any  computerized  post  office  across  the
country.

Bank Details: Candidates appearing in the first phase of CBT will be eligible for refund according to the
paragraph 7 of the notification. In case of online payment, the examination fee will be refunded in the
same account from which payment will be made. Those candidates who are not willing to refund in that
account, and those candidates who have paid through challan challan and bank challan, provide details
of  beneficiary  account  such  as  beneficiary  name,  bank  name,  account  number  and  IFSC  code  in  which
They want to get refunds. Confirm the details of the details on this page to be correct as these details
can  not  be  modified  once  they  are  entered.  After  the  deduction  of  the  appropriate  bank  charges,  the
refund will be done in the beneficiary account only.

Step 5:
Post  Preference  &  Qualification  and  other  details:The  most  important  details  furnished  by  the
candidates in this stage are their preferences for the various posts they are eligible for. If the candidate is
eligible for more than one post based on his academic qualification and other details furnished, he must
have  posts  for  priority  /  preferences.  The  list  of  posts  (in  the  selected  RRB)  for  which  a  candidate  is
eligible  will  be  displayed.  The  candidates  can  set  their  priority  /  preferences  by  clicking  on  the  "Set
Preference" button for various posts that are eligible for in, in the RRB they are applied. The candidate
can fill in the preferences for all posts, or some of them as his choice. But at least one preference should
be given
The scribe details (if applicable) with the stage The candidate must be satisfied in all conditions specified
in  Step  6.  The  candidates  also  need  to  provide  their  examination  of  the  preference,  language  for
communication  and  details  of  free  travel  authority  (if  applicable).  Educational  Qualification  and  Other
Qualification details (if any) should also be filled at this stage.

Step 5:
Post Priority and Qualification and Other Details : The most important details submitted by candidates in
this phase are their priorities for those different positions for whom they are eligible. If the candidate is
eligible for more than one position on the basis of his academic qualification and other details, then he
should set priorities / priorities for the posts. The list of posts (in selected RRB) for which a candidate is
eligible,  will  be  displayed.  Candidates  can  set  their  preferences  /  preferences  by  clicking  on  the  "Set
Preference"  button  for  those  different  positions  for  which  they  are  eligible,  in  which  they  are  applying
for the RRB. Candidates can fill all the positions listed according to their preference, or preferences for
some of them. But at least one preference should be given.

  The  details  of  Scrab  along  with  the  photograph  (if  applicable)  should  be  entered  in  this  phase.  The
picture  of  the  scrab  should  satisfy  all  the  conditions  specified  in  step  6.  Candidates  should  also  give
preference  for  language,  address  for  communication  and  details  for  free  travel  authorization  (if
applicable). Educational  qualifications  and  other  eligibility  details  (if  any)  should  also  be  filled  at  this
level.

 Step 6:
Upload of Photo, Signature & Document:
Upload Scanned Color Images of Photograph and SC / ST certificate (if applicable) complying with the
following requirements:
The scanned images of candidate photograph, signature, SC / ST certificate (if applicable) should be
in jpg / jpeg format only with 100 dpi Dimension of photograph image should be 35mm X 45mm only.
Size of the photo image must be greater than 20KB and less than 50 KB.
Size of the signature image must be greater than 10KB and less than 40 KB
Size of the SC / ST certificate image should be greater than 50 KB and less than 100 KB.
The color photograph must have taken on or after 01­01­2019
The  photograph,  signature  and  document  should  satisfy  all  the  conditions  specified  in  the  CEN.
Check the sample of acceptable photos in the Photo Upload page and upload your photo accordingly.

 Step 6:
Upload photo, signature and document:

To  comply  with  the  following  requirements,  upload  the  photo  and  scanned  image  of  the  SC  /  ST
certificate (if applicable):

Scanned  images  of  candidate's  photo,  signature,  SC  /  ST  certificate  (if  applicable)  should  be  in  the
jpg / jpeg format only with 100 dpi. The image image should only be 35 mm X 45 mm.

The size of the picture image should be less than 20KB and less than 50 KB.

The signature of the photo image should be less than 10KB and less than 40 KB.

SC / ST certificate image size should be less than 50 KB and less than 100 KB.

The color photograph should be taken in 01­01­2019 or later only in a professional studio.

The photograph, signature and document must satisfy all the conditions specified in the CEN. Check
the sample of acceptable pictures in the photo upload page and upload your photo accordingly.

6. The photograph, signature and document should satisfy all the conditions specified in the CEN. Check

Pictures, signatures and documents should satisfy all the conditions specified in the CEN. Take a sample
of acceptable picture in the photo upload page and upload your document accordingly.

 
7. Once all the steps are completed, the candidate can take print of his application  
     Once all the above steps have been completed, the candidate can print his application.
