Simone proved to be a good, solid teacher. She had a challenging year because her cooperating teacher had to goon a medical leave which meant that she had to deal with several substitute teachers. She continued to check in with her cooperating teacher to make sure that she was teaching to a level of excellence. Simone became the constant in those classes and provided the stability that the students needed. Students respond to the quiet strength that Simone exudes. She is always encouraging and always gives extra effort for her students. Simone had some difficult classes, but was able to handle them as she created a bond of trust with her students and created an atmosphere of respect in the classroom. She motivated her students and was an excellent evaluator of students’ work. She volunteered her time at lunch in the Writer's Room program. jone came to school early every morning in preparation for the day. She is a team player and would go out of her way to help a colleague. Itis Simone’s calling to be a teacher.
