BOARD OF INTERMEDIATE & SECONDARY EDUCATION, GUJRANWALA CIRCULAR NO.22/19 Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF), Islamabad under auspices of this Board, is organizing 28™ INTRA BOARD SCIENCE POSTER contest amongst the students of (9™ & 10") classes only. The theme selected for the current year “Water Scarcity and Best Practices to use it” The instructions below must be followed by the students during the competition’ preparation of Une poster it Exarnitvaion Hel A student is eligible to make only one Poster. The Poster must be made in the competition Hall (on the spot painting basis). The Poster can be made in any medium e.g. oil color, water color, paste! color, color pencils or Poster color. * A sheet size of 22 X 26 inch in white color of any type (chart paper, pastel paper, ivory card, scholar sheet) non glazed may be used for poster making. * Name of the candidate, school address and Board must be written on top back side of the poster. In view of above, students are directed to:- 1. The students will make / prepare their Poster under the supervision of the Board in the Exemination Hall on prescribed sheets provided by their institutions / itself. 2, The names of the students along with their (Passport Size) Photograph (Students Name and Father Name must be mentioned on the back side of the Photograph), and father’s Cell No. who want to take part in Poster Competition, must be reached with complete particulars through Heads of their respective Insitutions in the Board's office up to 20-04-2019 positively. Names received after due dete will not be allowed to participating in the competition 3. Maximum Three Students from a schoo! are allowed to participate the Poster Competition. 4. The Board will place the Posters before a panel of judges to evaluate the best three Posters for onward transmission to the Pakistan Science Foundation for award of following prizes:- 45 Prize Rs. 15000/- 2-4 Prize Rs. 10000/- 3 Prize Rs, 5000/- 5. The duration for Poster competition will be One hour & fifteen Minutes from 11:00 A.M to 12:15 P.M, 6. The Poster Competition will be held at Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Gujranwala on 25-04-2019 at 11:00 A.M. = All the participants are directed to reach the Examination Hall on above mentioned date before time. 8. Note: The theme selected for the current year is:- “OUR CHANGING EARTH: IMPACT OF GLOBALIZATION” The instructions mentioned below must be followed by the Head of instructions as well as students:- The students will write their Essays under the supervision of the Board in the Examination Hall on prescnbed sheets provided by the Board. The names of the students along with their (Passport Size) Photograph (Students Name and Father Name must be mentioned on the back side of the Photograph), and father's Cell No. who want to take part in Essay Writing Competition, must be reached with complete particulars through Heads of their respective Institutions in the Board's office up to 20-04-2019 positively. Names received after due date will not be allowed to participating in the competition. Maximum Five Students from a school are allowed to participate the Essay Competition. The Board will place the Essays before a panel of judges to evaluate the best three Essays for onward transmission to the Pakistan Science Foundation for award of following prizes: 1° Prize Rs. 15000/- 2" Prize Rs. 10000/- 3° Prize Rs. 5000/- Essay pertaining to 450 to 500 words in any one of the following two languages @ Urdu (i) English The duration for Essay Writing will be One hour from 10:30 A.M to 11:30 A.M. The Essay Competition will be held at Pakistan International Public School, Opposite BISE, Gujranwala on 23-04-2019 at 10:30 A.M. All the participants are directed to reach the Examination Hall of above said institution on above mentioned date before time. No TA/DA will be paid to the students / teachers who will come to the Board / Examination Hall for the said competition. All the students are directed to bring all required stationary with them.
