Definitions

Endothermic: A process in which a system absorbs energy from the surroundings, usually but
not always, in the form of heat.

Exothermic: It is the process opposite of Endothermic; in this, the system releases “gives out”
energy in the form of heat.

Residue: A small part of something that remains (Ex remains after Combustion or evaporation).
