Reflection Chapters 1 & 2

When there is unresolved conflict between decision makers, the heat of the conflict may

deter the focus of what the decision should be involving the company, looking at the end result,

or the big picture. Sometimes a person can get so wrapped up in winning an argument or being

heard that they aren’t listening to what the other side is saying either. The negligence in self-

managing emotions, thoughts, and actions can trickle down the ladder to the people that has been

delegated to do the work.

Everyone perceives things different

Every negotiation is a different animal. Not strongest smartest. Depends on timing etc.

Logic, emotions, and reputations

To effect change you have to reach the heart of your adversary, not just the head

Expect the unexpected. The moment you feel comfortable is the moment of trouble
