SCRIPT 
Ellen: How are you ladies doing tonight?  
 
Elna: Come on, I can't hear you! How are u ladies doing tonight?? 
 
Ellen: As you know, I am Captain Ellen Bryan Moore, and I have been 
working in the Women's Army Corp for some time now. Since i've 
become an army recruiter I've enlisted more than 300 women, and 
today i'm going to enlist all of you.  
 
Elna: And i am elna Jane hilliard. I've also been with the WAC for a while 
working on many different projects, including a top secret *emphasize 
secret* ​Army experiment.  
 
Nell: Why should​ I ​join the Women’s Army Corp? 
 
Ellen: I've worked with pilots in Yugoslavia. 
 
Elna: I've commanded my own units in Virginia.  
 
Ellen: You could take part in all these experiences and more when you 
join the Women's Army Corp! 
 
Elna: Not only would you be helping your country in a time of war, but 
you might get to travel all over the world! 
 
Ellen: Your work could take you to Europe! 
 
Elna: North Africa! 
 
Ellen: New Guinea! 
 
Elna: Now when you see your brothers and husbands, and your friends 
and family go off to join the war effort, you don't have to stay home.  
 
Ellen: Don't stay home cooking and cleaning. Don't let your talents go to 
waste. We believe that every woman has special abilities that would 
contribute to the United States military.  
 
Elna: It doesn’t matter who you are, but we need you. We call on every 
woman! 
 
Ellen: You could have the privilege of serving in the Army Air Force! 
 
Elna: The Army Ground Forces! 
 
Ellen: The Army Service Forces! 
 
Elna: Basic training starts in a few weeks, and we hope to see you all 
there!  
 
Ellen: We’re running out of time 
 
Elna: So get in the assembly line 
 
Ellen: Come make history 
 
Elna: By working for victory 
 
Ellen: Join the war effort today!  
 
Together: Thank you and god bless!!
