In the project under discussion, the Natural Period should have been inside 3.7 secs. Revision: The revised model as attached has two main modifications: i Wall loads are updated for light weight material as per DBR. ii) ‘Typical floor Slabs have been modelled as Shell Elements. ‘Asa result of the above, Tis now 3.476 seconds b) The Wind Coefficient Cf as shown was 1.05 which Prof Jangid correctly remarked as. appearing to be little low for X- direction. Comment: We have reviewed the same and identified an error in the excel sheet. The revised Cr in X- direction is 1.33. However since Speck forces were governing in X direction 50 this increase in wind load has not made any change in designs. A copy of the revised Cf and the supporting calculations with excel sheet in soft copy are enclosed.
