represent a large portion of Indigenous Australians displaced during the ‘Stolen
Generation’. Reflect on what this displacement looks like (then and now), the impact
this has on Indigenous Peoples, and the lasting impact on our nation today.

2. The fence itself becomes very symbolic in the film. In other words, the fence can be
seen as more than a fence. Explain what you think this fence symbolises in the film?
