GENERAL
Scope
This standard covers components to be tested, sampling requirements, approved
methods, acceptance or rejection criteria, and marking requirements for Positive Material
Identification (PMI)
The extent of PMI, including the items which are to be alloy verified, the methods to be
used, sampling and acceptance criteria, and the assignment of responsibilities for
conduct, shall be in accordance with Company requirements.
Carbon steel is not within the scope of this Standard.
