Macroeconomics is the branch of economics that studies


the behavior and performance of an economy as a
whole. It focuses on the aggregate changes in the
economy such as unemployment, growth rate, gross
domestic product and inflation.
It implements the economic theory by widening its
approach, to focus on issues of the economy as a whole
unit rather than the individual units.
Scope of macro economics
The scope of macro economies lies in the study of
analysis of the following:
1. Theory of employment
2. Income theory
3. Theory of price level
4. Theory of growth
5. Distribution theory
6. Theory of national income
