Brown City High School BS Pn Bob McClintic Dean of Students Tony Burton Dir. OF Athleties ‘1 7 Michele Blake Neil Kohler, Superintendent of Schools Special Fé Director To Whom It May Concern: It is with great pleasure that | write to you to recommend Alexis Wiltse. | have only known Alexis since last ‘August, when | became her high school principal. However, the length of time is not indicative of the amount of Alexis’ leadership | have witnessed. Early on as Alexis's administrator it was evident that she was a building and class leader. Alexis leads in many roles both in and out of the school building It is not uncommon to see Alexis with a group of friends in the hallway as she is someone who gets along. with everyone in the school and goes out of her way to make others feel welcome. This is especially evident as she was voted by her peers as the Homecoming Queen this fall. Alexis represented herself, family, and school with class as Queen and showed classmates admiration for honoring her. Alexis also serves in many leadership capacities with in the school bullding including serving as a College Ambassador and an upstanding member of the National Honor Society. | believe the most true representation of Alexis! character can be view while watching her compete. Alexis isa great athlete and has served her teammates as a varsity captain in volleyball, basketball, and softball the past ‘two years. There is absolutely no other athlete who works as hard as Alexis. She competes with everything she has always communicating with her teammates vocally as positive leader while also playing with maximum effort and leading by example. The greatest compliment to Alexis comes from her coaches. They often tell me, other coaches, and their own athletes “I wish everyone could be like Witse!” The hard work and leadership athletically has led to many accolades for “Wiltse.” Including being named 1st team all-conference, 1st team allregion, honorable mention all-state, ist team all-county, team MVP, and all-conference scholar athlete in Volleyball. Second team all-conference and an all-conference scholar athlete in Basketball and a 3-year varsity player, 1st team all-conference, all-district, nd all-county in Softball. Being involved athletically and academically is very time consuming for Alexis. However, she does all ofthis while also balancing the responsibilities of a job at the Mediloge of Yale. As an educator, | feel it is my duty to help deserving students succeed and | would like to strongly encourage you to consider Alexis.
