Part A:
Directions: Each person will read his/her assigned script. Every time you come across one of the
daily used objects, you will underline/highlight the word. Script A will start the conversation.

A: Hello!
B: Hey how are you?
A: I’m fine thank you. What are you doing in the mall?
B: I’m feeling great, thanks for asking. How are you?
A: I’m here to fix my phone.
B: What happened?
A: I was trying to get into my car and the phone slipped out of my hand.
B: Oh gosh! That sucks.
A: What are you doing here?
B: I’m shopping for some new sneakers. Do you recommend a specific store?
A: Yes! Check out Nordstrom. They have a nice collection of pants, shoes shirts and shorts.
B: Is it expensive?
A: I think it’s moderately priced. I also bought my wallet from there.
B: Okay, I’ll check it out. What are you doing? Let’s go have coffee later.
A: I can’t I’m sorry. I have to get home and help my kids brush their teeth and put them to bed.
B: Maybe another time?
A: For sure, have a great day!
