Time Celebration/Struggle/Question Claim about teaching practices:

0:30 Celebration At this point in time, I was walking around

monitoring students’ progress and making
observation on if any adjustments or
misconceptions needed to be addressed.
1:20 Celebration I restated the volume expectations for my students
as they began to become a bit rowdy.
2:30 Celebration I provided students with a 2-minute warning to
finish up their act it outs. This allows them time to
conclude what they are doing.
3:01 Struggle One of my more sensitive students was running
into a problem within his group. He was saying
they would not let him help, and they were stating
that he was not doing anything. This was a bit
tough to resolve because this student does not
pick back up and move on easily. I think I should
have offered him the choice to go get some water
and take a break and to come back to the group
when he is ready.
8:25 Struggle One of the students was choosing to not
participate. I reminded this student that if he does
not participate that he is already aware of the
consequences.
8:56 Celebration The second group went to perform, and a few
individuals really got into their roles. They acted
out using actions and voices, which added to their
scene. Truly a proud teacher moment.
