Introduction

Professional and experienced full-service shipping

companies wear many hats. These fill the gaps and act as the glue that

holds the entire supply chain together. In most cases, 3rd party logistics

(3PL) systems either connect the raw material suppliers to the

manufacturer or the manufacturers to their retailer customers.

In any case, today’s shipping companies are far more than the

trucks that haul goods from Point A to Point B.

JS TRACKING SERVICES is a tracking services who offer

monitoring and tracking deliveries of a shipping companies and they give

an updates and reports to the shipping companies which routes has

efficient to deliver it to their value clients.

The program developer wants to offer a system that can be

monitor more efficient services by using the system it can be monitor by

real-time monitoring, and there some added features, it can be track it

by online thru accessing the registered email in the JS Tracking

Services System.

II. Point of View

This part of the study will give you the overview of the entire

system. Here are the features that are available within the system:

 The system wants to provide an accurate real time monitoring

and have efficient delivery period of items.

 Tracking system is generally a system capable of rendering

virtual space to a human observer while tracking the

observer's coordinates.

 The system has a website which can be access by the client

and the administrator.

III. TIME CONTEXT

The study will last for three months, including the formulation of

the problem, aims of the project, data gathering and analysis,

conceptualizing of the entire system and at last part the prototyping of

the systems.

IV. STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

The study will answer the following problems:

 Too many misdelivered packages due to less monitored

tracking service

 Lack of real-time tracking service

 Neither the receiver nor the sender has the capability to track or

to know the status of the package they sent or received

V. STATEMENT OF THE OBJECTIVES

At the end of the study the following objectives will be achieved:

 To know why is it some of the packages to be sent are

misdelivered

 To develop a system that will provide a real-time status of the

packages that were sent

 To provide a system that can be access by the sender and the

receiver for them to have the updates about the shipment status

VI. AREAS OF CONSIDERATION

The researcher conducts market analysis which will surely help to

the development of the system considering that the development of the

system will be beneficial to the people who are using shipping services

as their mode of expressing their love and compassion to their love ones

by sending money, gifts and letters. This study will also useful to the

shipping company for they can monitor the items to be send to specific

receiver in the most efficient way which is minimizing the lost items or

misdelivered packages. And also, this will be convenient to the city

runner who will be the one who delivers the shipped items they can

easily track the location of the receiver so they can manage their time in

items delivery.

The program will be accessible for the shipping company, city-

runner, item sender and item receiver thru the use of online or cloud-

based application.

VII. ALTERNATIVE COURSE OF ACTION

In case failure of the system due to unwanted loss of internet

connection, the one who wants to access the system may retrieve data

in a time-based manner. They will just enter the specific time and date

to the system so that the program will display the status of the item to

be monitor.

VIII. STRATEGY FORMULATION

The researcher will be using the prototyping method of developing the
