Sub:- Osmania University — Implementation of Biometric Attendance System and Installation of CCTV Cameras — Reg. ~000:- It is proposed to implement the Biometric Attendance System (BAS) for the faculty, staff and students of all affiliated colleges under Osmania University and also Installation of CCTV Cameras in the affiliated colleges. In the recent meeting of Vice-Chancellors with Hon'ble Dy. Chief Minister and Minister for Education, the Hon'ble Dy. Chief Minister informed to introduce Biometric Attendance system and Installation of CCTV Cameras in all the Educational Institutions immediately. In view of the above, all the Principals/Correspondents of affiliated colleges offering UG/PG (Professional .or Non-Professional) coursés under the jurisdiction of Osmania University are directed to implement the Biometric Attendance System (BAS) for the faculty, staff and students and also to install CCTV Cameras in your colleges from the academic year 2018-19. Further, it is also informed that no affiliation shall be granted for the academic year 2018-19 without implementation of Biometric Attendance System (BAS) for the faculty, staff and students and Installation of CCTV Cameras in your colleges. =A.
