graphic organizer. The second I watched the video on these two I knew it was what I wanted to
choose. I picked these two because they stood out to me the most and they seem like something I
will definitely use when I have a class of my own. I want to be an elementary school teacher, so I
think that the visuals I created would be the perfect addition to my lesson plan. To implement
what I learned in class in my own classroom, I would have my students go on StoryBoard That
and create a scene that made them happy, sad, or mad. Or instead of a written book report, I can
have them create a comic strip on what happened in the book, or they can recreate a historical
event about Christopher Columbus or Abraham Lincoln. A comic strip is a great way to let
children be creative and have fun. When I made my comic strip on StoryBoard That, I chose to
create a scene from when my mom finally decided to let me have a hamster. I had so much fun
making this, and I know that my future students will as well! The next visual that I created was a
graphic organizer for math. I feel that my visual is great for elementary school children because
it helps organize math expressions using different colors that pop, which helps children
remember and pay attention more. This is definitely something that will be used when I have a
class of my own because it is creative and a great learning/teaching tool. Another lesson where a
graphic organizer can be used is to have my students create their own graphic organizer called
“all about me”. They can write if they have siblings, their likes and dislikes, their favorite food,
or anything that they would like the class to know about them. I will then have them share these
with the class as a way to get to know eachother better. Overall, I had a lot of fun creating both
of these visuals and they will definitely be used in my classroom because it is a fun and effective
