Purified water can promote good health for people. It is difficult to produce clean water in many
countries because of the pollution. A project in Uppsala University has led to the discovery of seeds from
Moringa trees that can be used to purify water. These seeds contain protein that can easily separate flocs
so as to purify the water. The study compares the quality of the protein from different countries’
Moringa Trees and estimates how much seeds can treat water.

The experiment used facilities in France and USA that promote research. The data has already been
presented to countries that are in need of water purification. The use of Moringa Seeds is being
discussed for use in a large and small scale water treatment. Researchers have conceived the use of
comparable materials in water purification in Europe. They have furthermore reported the importance of
neutrons and the use of contrast matching technique in studying the structure and aggregation of these
complex organic structures.
