So that products could be made faster using machines. More goods were
being produced without shelling out more money.

The Industrial Revolution was a period during predominantly agrarian, rural

societies in Europe and America became industrial and urban.

The factories used non-renewable fossil fuels and many raw materials. The
factories caused environmental problems such as air, water and noise
pollution.

Racism comes in different forms such as preference to race, color, and

Racism is a global concern because people who are the subject of racism
become victims of discrimination and exclusion.

3. How has racism affected people in the past?

Europeans have associated the Jews with witchcraft, and believe that their
cultural beliefs were superior to other nations and groups. Europeans
justified African slavery as a way of educating the pagan Africans.
