Drug Epidemic

How is the drug epidemic in America effecting the economy? I chose this because the

drug epidemic is so bad across the U.S. Within this research I will learn how businesses are

affected by drugs. I want to see the losses in detail, not just hear the grand picture.

I feel like this is one of the biggest problems within the U.S for money. Looking forward,

I think this will show me where the high and lows of business, between the market for drugs and

actual market. My belief is that drugs create huge losses for business owners. I know the

unemployment rate is so high because of drugs.

I’m hoping to learn what is affected the most in the economy by the drugs and where they

come from. I will answer my questions with research on the internet and books from the library.

Where are the drugs coming from? How big of a market is there for drugs with in the United

States, and where is the demand highest?
