How to Manage Points Using
Install Mode from
the 4100ES FACP

Follow these steps and click the corresponding movie to view the
procedure for using Install Mode to manage points at a 4100ES FACP.
Note: This Tutorial is Part 1 of 2. Please refer to F0090 “How to Remove Cards from Install Mode” for the conclusion of this procedure.

1. From the 4100ES Front Panel, use the Trouble Ack button to review active troubles on the system.
2. Login at the default Access Level 3 (see Tutorial F0088 if necessary for this procedure).
3. Navigate to the “Diagnostics Functions” screen, and then the “View/Change Install Mode List?” screen.
4. Add the NO ANSWER devices to the Install Mode List.
5. Add MISSING/FAILED Cards to the Install Mode List.
6. Remove ALL NORMAL Points from the Install Mode List.
7. Verify the proper devices are in the Install Mode List.
8. Continue on to F0090 to complete the procedure.
