    MUHURT TECHNICAL ASPECTS

    7) Solar & Lunar Eclipse Dates : This Session displays the solar and lunar
    Eclipses for the entire year selected. The Solar eclipse are shown in yellow colour and
    the Lunar eclipse are shown in blue colour. The default place is taken as Mumbai , so the
    Timing displayed is that of India.

    Eclipses days are normally never taken for any auspicious activities. All schools of
    Muhurat are unanimous that an eclipse day should never be taken to start a new venture.
    The Moon Nakshatra at the time of eclipse is also said to be blemished , and no muhurt
    Should be given were this nakshatra prevails for a period of six months from the
    eclipse date.
