of various ELL language needs and EC differentiation.
● Worked closely as a two part team with students, parents and administrators and community
liasons.
● Designed quality lessons aligned with the Common Core and NC Standards, with a focus on
academic language development, global education and project based learning.
● Maintained and tracked student records to inform instruction and maintain strict county and
state compliance.
● Coordinated ACCESS testing and scheduling for approximately 90 students.
● Participated as active faculty member and teacher leader (Presented ​Vocabulary Development for
ELLs​ at “Out of the Box” PD, 12 Team Coach, member of MTSS Committee, ESL Committee).

● Selected by the Japan Ministry of Education to help promote cultural exchange and English
language instruction.
● Demonstrated extreme flexibility and adaptability - over a three year period, developed materials
and lessons for over 500 High School and Kindergarten Students with 9 different teachers at
three schools.
● Led workshops on English conversation and music for other English teachers at Regional English
Teaching Conference.
● Lead school’s English Speaking Society and coached students for college-entrance English
interviews.
