Feminist literary presentation

When creating my presentation about the feminist literary theory, I will admit it was a

little confusing. I did not understand much about the topic so I had to do a little research to

understand the theory I would soon be presented fully. Doing the research for this topic and

how tips to present, helped me create a presentation that could not only educate my students

but keep them interested while I present.

To continue, before I began to create my presentation, I searched the source Mrs.

Cramer had provided to see the best way to format the display. I made sure not to create too

bright and crazy colors but also to keep it interesting enough, so I don’t lose my peers’ interest.

Each slide has limited words because as I had described before, I did not want to lose interest. I

feel it is essential that I did not use too many words within my presentation because, when a

peer is watching someone present, they aren’t focused on reading the words on the slide, they

are focused on watching and listening to the presenter.

Every other slide includes a picture of a book that has examples of feminist literary

theory. Each slide that has a book example, I described what the book was about and how that

book represented it. I feel it is important that I included a picture of the book because that way
my peers can see what the book looks like and can get a sense of how women make the book

to look enjoyable for their readers.

Furthermore, along with my presentation, I also created a handout for my peers to fill

out while I am presenting. I made this handout fill in the blank because I feel they can get more

of the information from my presentation while also keeping interest by having to fill in certain

words from the display.

In conclusion, I created both my presentation and my handout to help better my peers

and to educate them on my topic. Making the presentation and handout showed me that my

information can be taught to my classmates in a creative and informative way.
