Lucid Dreaming
What is lucid dreaming, and how does it work? I chose this topic, because I want to
learn how to lucid dream in my sleep. I think this topic is so interesting, and I have
wanted to know more about Lucid Dreaming for a long time. I want to know what people
Before I did more research, I knew that Lucid Dreaming is being aware that you are
in a dream. I knew that you could control what happens in the dream you are having. I
also knew that whatever happens in the dream feels as if it were reality. For example,
you could be having a nightmare, and you feel the fear as if it were real, as if it were not
a dream. I also knew that to help you lucid dream, you do reality checks during the day.
For example, you look around think of the things that are real like “that is my phone in
the table, and the table is on the ground, my feet are on the ground,” things like that.
My research went really well, I found things that I already knew, but on the other
hand I found things that I did not know in the past. I learned the techniques people use
in order to lucid dream. In my opinion, my search was very successful, and now I know
what I need to do in order to lucid dream. I think the best part of my search was

watching videos to help me understand lucid dreaming more. I liked watching videos of
people's personal experiences with lucid dreaming. The worst part of my search for me
In my search for information I found a lot of general facts about lucid dreaming, like
what it is in a nutshell. Lucid dreaming is when you are dreaming, but you are aware
and conscious in the dream you are in (World of Lucid Dreaming.) When you are in the
dreaming state everything you see, hear, touch and smell all feel as if you were really
experiencing them. There are benefits that come with lucid dreaming such as it has the
potential to help you overcome psychological problems like phobias, anxiety, night
terrors, traumas you have experienced, and also recurring dreams (World of Lucid
Dreaming.) I also learned that everyone is capable and have the potential to lucid
dream. In the video I watched, I learned that keeping a dream journal helps you dream,
so you write memorable important details. For example, write where you were, what you
were doing, what you said. This helps because if you have recurring dreams, you could
remember that you have done that thing before, and realise whether you are dreaming
or not (How to Control Your Dreams.) I did not know that there were disadvantages that
go along with lucid dreaming: One is confusing reality with your dreaming state. In your
dream you are party conscious, so it feels as if it were happening to you in real time, so
when you are not dreaming it is hard to differentiate them both. Another effect of Lucid
research I came about this supplement called Dream Leaf, and it is two pills, one that
you take before you sleep and one you take after you wake during the night that
induces lucid dreaming. From the website that it is sold on it states that it will induce
Lucid Dreaming, and the video that i watched showed that people only started to vividly
In conclusion, my experience went very well. I learned a new way to lucid dream, I
now know some benefits that come from lucid dreaming. I learned more ways to train
yourself to lucid dream. I thought this assignment was really good, and it made it so
easy for me to do it because it was on something that really interested me. It was
something that I have wanted to know more about, and now I do. Doing this assignment
