M: Good evening… How can I help you?

G: Good evening. I have a reservation for 9pm in the name of …

M: I'm afraid that the table is under preparation. If you'd like to wait at the bar, we'll call you over when
it's ready.

5 minutes later:

W: Your table is ready now. If you would like to come with me, I will show you to your table.

W: Are you ready to order?

G: Yes. Could I have a salad?

W: I am afraid we are sold out of the salad. We don't have any more tonight. May I recommend the crab
soup. It's very good.

G: I'll have that. Could I have some French fries?

W: Yes. One FF for you

G: Can you recommend some of dishes in your restaurant?

W: Beefsteak is the most served in our restaurant tonight

G: Okay. One beefsteak please

W: How would you like your steak?

G: Well done

W: Can I get you something to drink?

G: Orange juice, please

W: Anything else?

G: That’s all. Thank you

G: Excuse me!

W: Yes. How can I help you?

G: I have a problem with my main course as well. I called a well-done dish but the beef here is still raw.
Oh and look at the color of these potatoes, they are burnt. I cannot eat those potatoes like that. Can you
send them back to the kitchen to be replaced please?

W: I apologize for the steak. I'll replace it straight away. But the potatoes are supposed to be like that.
I'm afraid there is nothing I can do
G: Well, in that case. I'd like to speak to the Manager , please

Waiter: I'll go and get him for you.

M: What seems to be the problem?

G: The Waiter is refusing to send back my dish. The potatoes are almost burnt. It’s really hard to eat.
We're not happy with the service we have received from the Waiter. He's made several mistakes with
our food tonight and he's been arrogant towards us.'

M: Please accept my apologies. I'll send your dish back to the kitchen and get it replaced. We won't
charge you for the roast chicken. So, you don't have to pay for it. Also, to say sorry we'll give you a bottle
of orange juice on the house for all the problems you've experienced.

G: Okay. Thank you!
