Guidelines for Internship/Project
Objective:
Internship/Project is a phase of training wherein a graduate is expected to conduct actual practice of sub-
ject and acquire skills under supervision so that he/she may become capable of functioning independently.
Process:
1) Collect your internship Application Form from Department.
2) Submit the duly signed and completed form to Department.
3) Submit an Application seeking for consent letter to the Department and collect your consent letter
duly signed by Head of Department MSFDT.
4) Report to your faculty guide and get your Project Title for Internship.
5) Collect your logbook from the Faculty Guide.
6) Initial Internship/Project proposal is to be sent by the end of first week of your Internship.
7) Weekly reporting: In the logbook or by email if the internship is out of Raipur (Consisting the
progress on study based on your topic & you’re Achievements, on weekly basis).
8) Final Project Report submission within specified duration after the completion of intern-
ship/Project in three
9) copies and one CD, (one extra copy of Final Project Report may be submitted to the company if
required or asked by the company guide)
Duration of Internship
ADIDD IV 3 Months
Appearance
1) Maintain proper grooming when you do your internship and personality appearance.
2) Wear good formal clothes, make sure your clothes are ironed, use fresh socks & use polished
shoes daily.
3) Always carry the logbook with you to note the activities of the internship.
4) Always carry MATS University ID card and the identity card provided by the organization from
where you are doing internship.
Behavior & Attitude
1) Do wish your seniors Employees in the office as per the time of the day.
2) Be punctual; always reach your office 5 minutes before the reporting time.
3) Be always helpful & courteous to the employees in the organization where you’re doing your in-
ternship.
4) Do not get in to argument or quarrel with any staff of the organization where your internship is
carried out.
5) Always attend Training Programs, Seminars, Conferences & meets organized by the company dur-
ing Internship.
6) Abide the rules & regulations of the company.
7) Maintain the daily activity based work diary. It will be helpful for communicating the work done
to the organization as well as to MSIT, MATS University & for the preparation of final project.
8) Remember that you represent MSIT, MATS University, so never get involved in to any activities
which will affect the decorum of MATS University.
9) Don’t forget to take pictures of happenings & achievement in the internship; it will be of great
help when you prepare your reports. (If allowed by the organization).
10) Never disturb the work force or senior level employees during their peak hours.
11) Meet the concern Executive as per given schedule or through prior appointments only.
12) Follow all the safety & statuary norms stated by the organization.
Reporting:
1) Initial Internship/Project Report by the end of first week of your Internship to your to your faculty
guide by email or in hardcopy.
2) Weekly reporting: In the logbook or by email if the internship is out of Raipur (Consisting the
progress on study based on your topic & you’re Achievements, on weekly basis).
3) Final Project Report submission within the specified duration after the completion of internship in
three copies & one CD, (one extra copy of Final Project Report may be submitted to the company
if required or asked by the company guide).
