Dear SSC Coordinator,

As an aspiring teacher, I was excited to see this posting to work in the

Tutoring Center. I would like to be able to learn from my work experience
and have the opportunity to observe a tutoring setting. I feel like I would be
a great match for the job.

My previous experience working as a math tutor for a middle school and

also as a nursery volunteer, gave me great communication experience.
Constantly having to work with parents has given me the skills I need to
clearly communicate any issues there may be while maintaining a friendly
environment. I have an excellent track record of being on time and
completing all of my duties in a timely manner.

The skills that I have acquired would also make me a good fit for this
position. I am able to create graphic designs, efficiently use Microsoft Office
Products, and can utilize every aspect of Google Drive. These capabilities
will not only help me to perform effectively in my job as a desk aide but can
benefit the tutoring center as a whole. This will allow me to complete any
task that is needed of the center. The skills that I have learned this past
semester, in addition to already learned skills can be found on my
webpage​.

I look forward to an in-person meeting so that we can explore how I can

make a positive contribution as a desk aide to the tutoring center.
