CAUTIONS REGARDING HANDLING
Location
Install the unit in a well-ventilated location where it will nat be
‘exposed to high tamperatures or humidity.
#¢Do not install the unit ina location which is exposed to direct,
rays of the sun, or near hot appliances or radiators. Excessive
heat can adversely affect the cabinet and internal components.
‘Installation of the unit in a damp or dusty environment may,
result in a malfunction or accident. (Also avoid instalation
near cookers, etc., where the unit may be exposed to smoke
from oll, steam, or heat.)
‘ePlease place this unit on a level eurface,
acing and using the unit for long periods on heat-generating
sources will affect performance.
‘*Instalithe unit as far away as possible from your TV Installation
in close proximity to such equipment may cause noise or
degradation of the picture.
Condensation
When this unit is brought into @ warm room from previously
‘cold surroundings or when the room temperature rises sharply,
‘condensation may form inside and
attain its full performance. To prevent this,
‘stand for about an hour before switching it on or raise the room
‘temperature gradually.
Ventilation
When installing this unit, make sure to leave space around the
Lnit for ventilation to improve heat radiation (atleast 30 om at,
the top, 18 em at the rear, and 15 em at each side). ifnot enough
‘space is provided between the unit and walls or other equip-
‘ment, heat will build up inside, interfering with performance or
causing malfunctions.
