What is community?

You and your group of food lovers see an opportunity to positively influence your community by creating an organization and
presentation that will educate the public on ways to build a stronger community in our city. Your presentation will ultimately answer the following
inquiry question:

ASSIGNMENT
Your passion group will be used to create a presentation that answers the “INQUIRY QUESTION” above. As this is a rather large problem, your group
should begin your journey by answering the following “Guiding Questions”:

What is a community?

A community is a place where people hang out or live and/or have the same characteristics and interests in common. Ex a forest and Lethbridge are
both communities for different lifeforms.

What communities can you identify within your passion? (Biggest to smallest)

 The chefs/cooks
 The customers

Which community will you focus on for your project?

The people that eat food

Who are all of the stakeholders in your community?
(A STAKEHOLDER is a person with an interest or concern in something)

The cooks

In what way can these stakeholders help you with your project? How might you reach out to these stakeholders?

They can tell us what they have seen in people as they came to eat food. Like how the people act like their concerns and their thoughts

Where will you begin? Create a list of activities you think you will have to complete in order to complete this project.

Ask a cook or chef if they have heard anything from people that changed their mind about something
