If so, why? If not, why not? Yes. One of the main purposes of obtaining internships are to determine what you do and don’t ‘want to do for your career. While I was able to gain experience in a new form of radio that I wasn’t exposed to before, I learned that working in this capacity is not something I want to do for a long-term career. I have developed appreciation for those who are able to work in satellite radio, where there may be less interaction with on-air Personalities within the music Programming space. Iam glad that I am able to walk away from this internship and gain skills that can be of use within the radio industry as a whole. Would you recommend this internship to other students? Why or why not? Absolutely! I would recommend this internship to other students. During my time here I was tasked with actually being a member ofthe team.
