Award of degree of
(AUTONOMOUS)
The Samsung Galaxy Note9 is part of the Cell phone & service test program at Consumer
Reports. In our lab tests, Cell phone & service models like the Galaxy Note9 are rated on
multiple criteria, such as those listed below.
Predicted reliability:
Predicted reliability icons are based on estimated problem rates for
newly purchased smartphones, not under service contract, within the first 2 years of
ownership.

Owner satisfaction:
Owner satisfaction icons are based on the proportion of members who
are extremely likely to recommend their smartphone to their friends and family.

Camera: Rear image quality: Still image quality using the rear facing (main) camera. It is based
on objective and subjective judgments of test images, which includes evaluating resolution,
dynamic range, color accuracy, and visual noise.
OBJECTIVE OF STUDY
REVIEW OF LITERATURE
Jamshed Avari (2018) : Samsung can take credit for sparking an interest in big
phones. The original Galaxy Note (Review) with its 5.3-inch screen was met with
scepticism and a bit of ridicule at first, but by today's standards, it would seem almost
dainty. The trouble for Samsung is that with nearly all phones (including its own)
pushing the limits of what a pocket can hold, what sets the Galaxy Note line apart?
With nearly identical hardware and software as the Galaxy S series, the new Galaxy
Note 9 ₹ 59,750 doesn't even serve as a half-yearly refresh, like so many other
companies push out. The answer, then, is the S Pen, which Samsung is now leaning
heavily on. Over the years, it has become slimmer and more sensitive, and now it
has gained a whole new set of functions.
We're curious to see whether there's anything else to this phone that we haven't
seen before, and whether the S Pen really elevates Android to a place that none of
Samsung's competitors can reach. Read on.
Sanket Vijayasarathy : Samsung's flagship phones are among the most anticipated gadgets
to come out every year. But with leaks revealing almost everything about them weeks ahead
of launch, we're kind of left unexcited by the time these devices are officially announced.
That's never been truer than with the Galaxy Note 9. When unveiled on August 9, it turned
out to be everything we had heard weeks and months before its launch. The new Note is an
iterative update that looks and feels like the Galaxy Note 8 from last year.
History
Many Galaxy Note 9 features were leaked before the official launch, including its S-
Pen. On 27 June 2018, Samsung sent out invites for the next "Unpacked" event,
showing a gold S Pen image. According to that teaser, it was announced on 9
August 2018.
On 15 July 2018, a picture was posted showing Samsung CEO DJ Koh holding a
possible Galaxy Note 9.
On 2 August 2018, a picture of the box with the Note 9 was posted from Russia.
Specifications
Hardware
The Note 9 has a 6.4 inches (160 mm) 1440p Super AMOLED display with an 18.5:9
aspect ratio. The design on the front is otherwise similar to the Note 8, using an
"Infinity Display" as marketed by Samsung.
The Note 9 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC in the U.S., Canada, China,
Japan and Latin America or a Samsung Exynos 9810 SoC in the rest of the world. It
has 128 or 512 GB storage options. The 128 GB model has 6 GB of RAM while the
512 GB has 8 GB of RAM. All models also have a microSD card slot that can
support a microSD card that stores up to 512 gigabytes of data, expanding storage
up to 1 terabyte with the 512 GB model.
The Note 9 has IP68 water & dust resistance and a USB-C connector that
supports Samsung DeX without a dock. It has a 3.5 mm headphone jack along
with AKG tuned stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
The Note 9 has fast wireless charging capabilities via the Qi standard. The 4000
mAh battery is significantly upgraded from previous Samsung Galaxy phones; as
compared to the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 which only had 3300 mAh, which was due
to the battery that was in the Note 7. The 4000 mAh was previously seen in only the
Active variants of the S7 and S8.
The dual-camera system has one lens with a dual-aperture (f/1.5 and f/2.4) system
similar to the S9, but the setup is flipped horizontally rather than vertically, similar to
the Note 8's setup.
The fingerprint sensor has been moved to below the camera setup, just like the S9 &
S9+, rather than next to it like on the Note 8.
There is also a water carbon heat pipe on the phone as part of the touting towards its
gaming capability allowing for longer gaming sessions without thermal throttling.
S-Pen
The biggest change to the Note 9 is to the S-Pen. The S-Pen now has Bluetooth
capabilities, including the ability to tap the button on it (hold, single or double) to do
certain tasks, such as moving forwards or backwards in presentations or taking
photos, and third party support is provided for apps via an SDK.
The S-Pen now has a "battery" (essentially a Super Capacitor) that charges when
the pen is docked in the silo, with Samsung claiming 30 minutes of usage (or up to
200 clicks of the button) with only 40 seconds of charging.
Software
The Note 9 ships with Android 8.1 Oreo with Samsung Experience 9.5 on top.
Samsung is now officially giving out the software install for the One UI update
worldwide.
The camera software has been further improved and now includes an AI scene
recognition that is capable of identifying 20 different scenes and make necessary
adjustments to the camera's variables to produce better image quality.
Recently, T-MOBILE has announced that ANDROID PIE update is being rolled out
to Samsung Galaxy Note 9 users. While this update brings refreshed One UI, it also
brings many improvements. This update is being delivered to users sequentially
based on regions , so many users would need to wait till it reaches them.
RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
As the title of the project suggest the purpose to study the access of prudential
in area like jodhpur.
In short research is the search for knowledge through objective and systematic
method of finding a solution of a problem.
The methodology adopted in conducting this survey was quite simple. First
there was collection of data from various sources . Then after scanning and
properly analyzing and interpreting the information available on hand, a final
report was prepared.
RESEARCH OBJECTIVES
RESEARCH DESIGN
A research design is the set of methods and procedures used in collecting and analyzing
measures of the variables specified in the problem research. The design of a study defines
the study type (descriptive, correlation, semi-experimental, experimental, review, meta-
analytic) and sub-type (e.g., descriptive-longitudinal case study), research problem,
hypotheses, independent and dependent variables, experimental design, and, if applicable,
data collection methods and a statistical analysis plan. A research design is a framework that
has been created to find answers to research questions.
Data collection is a process of collecting information from all the relevant sources to find
answers to the research problem, test the hypothesis and evaluate the outcomes. Data
collection methods can be divided into two categories: secondary methods of data
collection and primary methods of data collection.
SOURCES OF DATA
A. PRIMARY DATA : Data which are collected fresh and for the first time and thus
happens to be original in character . Primary data are gathered for specific purpose.
B. SECONDARY DATA : Data that collected from primary data i.e., they are already exit
somewhere. For the purpose of our study we collected both the data.
