The EPLAN Data Portal is providing data only for the current and the previous version.

Since April 2017

the datasets in the Data Portal are optimized for version 2.5 and 2.6.

As an additional service we are offering download packages for version 2.4.

Attention!

Please note, that an import cannot be made undone.

Do not import the data packages with up to 175000 parts into your live environment. Because of the large
number of parts this will slow down your database performance. Due to the size of the data packages
please work locally only, Extracting the files from / to a network drive may cause performance issues.

Please note, that the data in the EDZ packages are a frozen version of the EPLAN Data Portal data of
March 2017. The data are not going to be updated in the future.

Workflow:

We suggest to create a separate database per downloaded data package.

1. Create a new parts database.

2. Create new folders and a related directory scheme for the part related master data (e.g. macros,
pictures, PDFs, etc.).

3. Import the downloaded data into the new parts DB.

4. Select the parts for your live environment and export them using the EDZ format.

5. Once you have exported all needed data, please switch back to the live environment and import
the just exported data.
